Pay Rate: $22.00 / hour

Serving as a Medical Support Assistant provides an excellent career development opportunity for Direct Care Workers looking to expand their experience in healthcare administration, patient coordination, and clinical support within a medical setting.
What You’ll Do:
- Work with a team of different professionals to carry out health action plans, help individuals build skills, track their progress, and support their involvement in the community based on their preferences and abilities.
- Schedule and prepare for medical appointments, support individuals during visits, share results with the care team, and make sure follow-up care is completed.
- Provide respectful, hands-on care such as checking vital signs, doing basic health checks, and helping with certain medical procedures.
- Help give medications when needed, keep medication records accurate, and inform staff about any medication changes.
- Follow behavior support plans, document behavioral incidents, and safely drive individuals to appointments while following vehicle safety and reporting rules.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License is required
- Medication Certification / AMAP
