Recruiting Coordinator | Bethel, CT Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM | Hybrid (2-3 days remote)
Ability Beyond is seeking a people-focused, organized, and motivated Recruiting Coordinator to join our HR team. If you are a recent college graduate or looking to break into Human Resources, this is an opportunity to gain real-world recruiting experience, build professional skills, and make an impact from day one. No prior HR experience is required. We are looking for someone who is curious, eager to learn, takes initiative, and enjoys working with people.

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will gain hands-on experience across the full hiring process, while also providing administrative support to the team!
You will learn how to:
- Identify and screen potential candidates
- Coordinate interviews with candidates and the recruiting team
- Communicate with candidates via phone and text screenings
- Partner closely with recruiters and hiring managers
- Work within an Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Support background checks, reference checks, and onboarding
- Represent Ability Beyond at job fairs and recruiting events
- Build foundational skills in Talent Acquisition and Human Resources
- Process billing documents and manage external vendors
- Support the employee referral process and follow-up on bonuses
You will play a key role in the candidate experience and often be the first point of contact for individuals exploring opportunities with Ability Beyond.

What You’ll Bring
- High School Diploma required; Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Positive, collaborative attitude and willingness to learn
- Experience with an ATS or HR software is a plus, but not required
- Valid driver’s license required
