We’re a global, innovative management and technology consulting firm with offices in the U.S and India. Our name comes from the Greek word for excellence: “Areté.” And excellence is exactly what we strive for.
We’re celebrating our fourth year as one of Forbes’ World’s Best Management Consulting Firms – and our success starts with our people. From robust career development planning to competitive life and wellness benefits, AArete’s “Culture of Care” takes a holistic approach to the employee experience.
AAretians (our team members) are leaders at every level. You are encouraged to unlock your full potential by directly contributing to our mission and prioritizing personal development and fulfillment.
The Role
As a Research Associate II, you lead complex research requests and mini‑workstreams—primarily in healthcare with support for non‑healthcare sectors. You act as the primary liaison to designated solution verticals, translate findings into actionable points of view, and contribute to firm‑wide enablement, standards, and reusable assets. You’ll support thought leadership (policy analysis, surveys, interviews), maintain a weekly healthcare policy and industry brief, and present insights to client teams, Directors, and vertical leaders.
Work You’ll Do
- Conduct and synthesize research on legislation, policy, market trends, innovation, and competitive dynamics; develop clear POVs on why it matters and client implications.
- Build light quantitative analyses (e.g., trend charts, directional estimates) using Excel to support narratives; ensure methodological transparency
- Serve as primary liaison between AARC and designated solution vertical leadership; tailor insights and recommend actions aligned to vertical goals
- Own and update the weekly firm‑wide healthcare policy & industry brief, capturing consolidation activity, regulatory changes, innovation signals, and notable reports
- Lead development/refinement of research methodology within your domain(s) of expertise; collaborate on novel policy analysis and complex projects
- Support thought leadership with research, survey design, stakeholder interviews, and source‑curated bibliographies
- Evangelize research enablement—coach peers/interns on search strategies, Copilot prompts, repositories, and citation practices; contribute to formal/informal trainings
- Uphold and improve research standards (taxonomies, sourcing, citation integrity); create reusable assets (playbooks, templates, curated source lists) to accelerate requests
- Communicate insights via presentations, executive summaries, and policy analyses to client teams and internal working groups; occasionally present to Directors
- Identify opportunities for new solution development and client outreach; support proposals with tailored market perspectives and quantified impacts
- Support achievement and adherence to overall AARC SLAs
- Own timelines and communicate proactively with clients/internal stakeholders; recognize risks and opportunities and engage AARC leadership as needed
- Track request SLAs, stakeholder satisfaction, and reuse/adoption of outputs; maintain updated IP and other applicable documentation in the AArete Knowledge Management practices
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- BS/BA required (healthcare‑related major preferred); Master’s degree a plus
- Experience in the healthcare industry (consulting or policy analysis preferred)
- Demonstrated ability to conduct and communicate relevant research; anticipate information needs for client teams
- Strong objectivity, attention to detail, and high‑quality output under quick turnarounds
- Ability to work independently and with diverse teams; learning agility and multitasking
- Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, and PDF workflows; familiarity with Copilot and research repositories (training provided)
- Willingness to learn and to multitask while working on projects with quick turnaround and transition times
Benefits
- Flexible Paid Time Off of up to 23 days annually, in addition to 10 paid public holidays
- Hybrid work model with flexible in-office attendance
- Comprehensive health benefits including medical insurance (Mediclaim), personal accident insurance, and term life insurance
- Generous paid parental leave program
- Attractive employee referral bonus scheme
- Transportation allowance and night shift allowance
