An Inside Aggregate weighmaster / Agg Dispatcher sells, ships and tickets construction materials such as sand, gravel, and crushed stone to contractors and construction companies. This is an office-based role that focuses on ticketing customer trucks and fostering relationships over the phone and through email.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Operate computerized scales to weigh inbound and outbound trucks, ensuring accurate recording of material tonnage
- Greet and assist customers, provide product information and pricing, and maintain professional interactions.
- Take orders for aggregate deliveries
- Utilize company software to enter data, process transactions, and generate reports for management and customers
- Perform various office duties, managing cash, preparing quotes, and assisting with purchase order requisitions.
- Pricing and quotes: Prepare and present quotes and material estimates for customers
- Sales and lead generation: Develop new business opportunities by prospecting, following up on leads, and cross-selling or upselling products to customers.
- * Answering customer calls and communicates pricing, product descriptions, and product availability
Required skills and qualifications:
- Must be highly dependable.
- Product knowledge: A deep understanding of aggregate products, their specifications, and their applications in the construction industry.
- Sales and communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a customer-focused, results-driven approach.
- Industry experience: Proven sales experience, preferably in construction materials, and a basic understanding of construction processes.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- May be required to travel 25%of the time
