VP, Analytics Director (Healthcare & Financial Services)

22squared is seeking a lead on their Analytics team, focusing on Healthcare and Financial Services.  In this leadership role, you will manage a team that will design measurement plans for our media clients and evaluate the success of our media campaigns.  This candidate will have a strong background in media and emerging attribution and measurement technology. 

Key to success in this role will be to build and implement measurement solutions to understand the success of media in the market and tie media investment to business outcomes. 



  • Develop and drive 1-3 year measurement planning vision and roadmap
  • Lead a team of managers and analysts to implement best in class measurement solutions.
  • Lead the conversation in regard to best practices and knowledge on 3rd party attribution methodologies 
  • Continuously evaluate 3rd party vendors to build the best possible measurement solutions
  • Stay up to date on industry trends and deliver proactive POVs and thought leadership
  • Actively participate in business development
  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to ensure accuracy of data, technical infrastructure and implementation
  • Build and maintain learning agenda, testing roadmap and test design in partnership with clients and other stakeholders
  • Oversee development of analytical plans including proper selection of methodologies, techniques, technologies, KPIs and metrics
  • Establish regular reporting and measurement cadence and ensure effective delivery on time and within scope
  • Establish measurement and testing frameworks with media and client teams
  • Work in partnership with Data Visualization teams to build dashboard requirements to visualize complex data in an easily digestible manner
  • Develop strong rapport with client leads and internal stakeholders

Thought Leadership:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance the use of measurement technology
  • Provides thought-leadership, consistently assessing current practices and exposing research on best practices and market trends
  • Monitor external services and studies to update teams on new strategies, tools and methodologies for usability and analytics tracking or reporting
  • Proactively seeking opportunities to evolve and elevate reporting and analytics to drive stronger efficiency and/or efficacy for the enterprise
  • Participates in business development activities and actively identifies opportunities for case studies

Team Management:

  • Mentor and manage a team of analysts to ensure they are given the support and guidance needed to be successful
  • Creates a positive work environment and foster a team approach and collaborates with other Analytics Directors on the team’s growth and strategy
  • Responsible for setting performance expectations and aligning training needs to grow and develop direct reports
  • Ensures direct reports have clear and actionable development plans
  • Identify training opportunities for the team with other Analytics Directors


  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline
  • 12+ years experience in advertising effectiveness with a focus on measurement and attribution
  • Experience working with offline media and digital media data;  Extensive experience with TV / Advanced TV a plus
  • Experience with SQL, Google ADH, and Big Query environments
  • Experience with MMM and MTA solutions required
  • Experience within Healthcare in a marketing capacity strongly preferred.  Experience with Financial Services in a marketing capacity a strong plus.  
  • Experience with website analytics tools required (GA360 or Adobe Analytics strongly preferred)
  • Experience with business intelligence tools (Datorama, Tableau, etc.) required
  • Experience with a variety of different media effectiveness measurement strategies
  • Familiarity with media tagging and tag management solutions
  • Must have knowledge of 3rd party vendors and their measurement methodologies
  • Exceptionally strong analytical skills, with an ability to translate data into actionable insights and present findings to clients
  • Experience developing scopes of work and effective resource utilization
  • Experience with AB and multivariate testing
