Inside Sales Systems Engineer
Reports to Solutions Architect, AT&T 

As a Zscaler Inside Sales Systems Engineer, you will support a select group of field sales individuals for one of our largest Service Provider partners - AT&T.  You will be presenting Zscaler cloud security solutions to prospective customers and help enable the 7,000 plus AT&T National Business Markets team in the positioning and sale of our entire product portfolio  . This includes delivering demonstrations of our products, gathering customer technical requirements, creating evaluation test plans with customers and managing the evaluation process to a successful conclusion. 

 
You will work closely with customers as their primary point of contact communicating product functionality, technical concepts, gathering feedback, resolving issues as well as acting as the customers’ advocate for issues that require assistance from the Zscaler support team.  Most activities are performed remotely via video conferencing services but domestic travel is occasionally required.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical product presentations.
  • Assist with product evaluations and associated troubleshooting.
  • Handle RFI/RFPs associated with the sales process.
  • Work with Channel Partners to provide technical training and end user demonstration/evaluation assistance.
  • Help train Inside Sales team on Zscaler technology and support for technical sales and competitive messaging.
  • Work directly with Product Management team as a liaison to accounts around technical product requirements.
  • Develop personal projects that improve the sales process for General Business and the larger Zscaler organization.Requirements:
  • BSCS or equivalent preferred with 2-4 years of experience as an SE or systems integrator.
  • Excellent knowledge and prior experience selling network security technologies including but not limited to: HTTP and web related technologies, proxies, caches, routers,firewalls, SSL, GRE, IPsec, VPNs, DLP, Mobile, anti-virus, spam and spyware solutions.
  • Strong understanding of Network topology and practical experience working with routing and switching products, including troubleshooting.
  • Demonstrable experience with systems installation, Mac and Windows-based systems, configuration and administration of routers/switches/firewalls, and knowledge of SSO and other 3rd party authentication applications.

  • Experience from companies in the enterprise networking security space.
Preferences:
  • Prior startup experience being one of the first SEs into an organization.
  • Experience working with Channel partners and understanding of a channel centric go to market approach.
