The Microsoft Partnership Field Manager will be responsible for executing fast growing co-sell and GTM programs that accelerate interaction and collaboration with the Microsoft Field organization and the respective Zscaler field teams in the Americas. Microsoft is a strategic partner at Zscaler, as such co-selling in the marketplace is a critical aspect of our joint market penetration and success. We have implemented significant technology integrations with Microsoft that enable equally valuable benefits to Enterprise customers. This has allowed us to grow commercial synergies and created a substantial field collaboration. This role is tasked with driving and helping grow our joint opportunity collaboration and subsequent customer penetration. This role has substantial visibility across a growing set of marketing, channel, and sales stakeholders as well as other field support roles. This role will also collaborate with the Microsoft Field on a regular basis to ensure effective field relationships and traction across Zscaler and Microsoft.
The successful candidate will bring a proven track record of 3+ years of direct collaboration with a sales and/or channel organization and equal length working with external technology partners, preferably large cloud players. In addition has successfully worked in information technology for 6+ years in either market development, sales, or technical sales/alliance/partnerships capacity.
We are seeking highly energetic individuals who thrive in sales team work environments. This person is quick to respond and scrappy capable of getting things done. A driven self-learner, with a passion about technology and related solutions. Running, introducing and influencing seasoned sales team members to drive quick partner collaboration makes them feel energized and motivated. This person is not afraid of running regular tracking and reporting of deal progress along with internal channel stakeholders and external players. It feels comfortable leveraging Salesforce, Portals, and other systems to drive deal tracking and visibility internally and externally.
This role will be focused on executing Microsoft field team related operations in lock step with channel and sales and directly aid in accelerating co-sell initiatives in the USA and Canada. Key elements of its responsibilities include:
- Engages on a weekly basis with the peer channel managers to review deal progress and drive actions to increase Microsoft co-sell pipeline
- Takes quick action to ensure there’s effective engagement with the Microsoft field team involving co-sell pipeline deals.
