Position Overview

Responsible for the payroll & Treasury management

What you’ll do as the Finance Specialist – Payroll & Treasury:

1. Payroll Management:

• Oversee the end-to-end payroll processing for our India based employees, ensuring accuracy and compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Coordinate with HR and other relevant departments to ensure timely and accurate processing of payroll inputs, including new hires, terminations, salary changes, and other adjustments.
• Review and approve payroll calculations, deductions, and tax withholdings.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Indian payroll regulations and ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and ensure compliance with Indian labor laws, tax regulations, and other statutory requirements like PF / PT / ESI etc.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of employee payroll data.
• Manage and reconcile payroll-related accounts during audit and their reconciliation with GL accounts.
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports, including payroll registers and journal entries.
• Respond to employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related issues.

1. Treasury Management:

• Manage cash flow and liquidity for our India operations, including monitoring bank balances, initiating fund transfers, and optimizing cash utilization.
• Execute foreign exchange transactions to mitigate currency risk and optimize exchange rates.
• Work closely with internal stakeholders to forecast cash flow needs and develop strategies to optimize liquidity.
• Handling all Treasury related activities like uploading payments on bank portal (Vendor payments, Employee payments, Statutory payments etc).
• Passing payment entries in ERP
• Monitoring bank transactions and monitoring Fixed Deposits
• Liasoning with banks for various activities including LC, BG, Fx
• Import, Export related payments and documentation. Intercompany payments
• Responsible for schedules and disclosure pertaining to respective area’s during statutory audit

What you will bring to the team:

• Payroll, treasury and accounting Background
• Knowledge of TDS, TCS, GST and related Statutory Compliance.
• Good spoken and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
• Proven ability to work in team
• Quantitative, analytical, and statistical skills
• Willing to work for extended hours on critical delivery dates.
