Position Overview:

 

As Account Manager (PK), you will manage and provide backup with large Enterprise size clients in the U.S. to grow and maintain their IT business with Zones. You will partner with US Based Account Executive / Field Account Executive and Sales leadership to provide coverage where needed to meet revenue and margin targets while coordinating resources to ensure our clients receive high quality fulfillment of their products and service’s needs.  In addition to backup responsibilities, you will also provide business development for existing accounts.

 

 

What you’ll do as the Account Manager:

  • Proactively developing existing clients by applying Zones’ sales methodology, strategically planning, and executing development strategies
  • Providing a coverage for a variety of clients, depending on need, by expanding, and nurturing relationships with key Client stakeholders, influencers, and decision makers
  • Collaborating with key Zones technical and support resources to sell solutions and services to customers.
  • Maintaining Zones visions and values in all external and internal interactions
  • Consistently providing exemplary service to all assigned Clients and backup assignments
  • Serve as back up Account Executive in the designated sales region.
  • Onboarding new clients in the designated sales region via digital tools.
  • Send regional Event initiations and client warmings.
  • Same day Lead follow ups to convert MQLs into SQLs.
  • Regional SW/HW renewal Cross-Sell and Upsell (Sub 100K renewals). Follow up and track below top 20 OEM.
  • Coordinate with PK Operations for any burst help needed.
  • Staffing opportunity coordination between Client and Partner.
  • RFP activities for Net New Clients in the region (OEM Engagement, Product alternatives etc.)

 

What you will bring to the team:

Required Experience & Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Sales, Marketing, Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity or other related field are beneficial and are encouraged to apply
  • Practice strategic relationship management for each client and prospect at every level to become a proactive and trusted partner and establish Zones as an extension of the client’s IT department
  • Be a partner to your clients to help them digitize, reduce their costs, and increase customer satisfaction.
  • Sales Cadence; consistency in sales cadence including customer interaction / communication, account plans, selling solutions, customer growth
  • Business Relationships: confident and able to establish strong relationships with key vendors and partners to support solution selling
  • Embrace using a CRM System for strategic pipeline management 
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment
  • Self-motivated, goal orientated, and a strong ability to learn
  • Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively on the phone

 

Preferred Requirements:

  • Minimum of 4-6 years sales experience within IT Industry
  • Candidates will possess excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to interact well with groups, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with little supervision
  • 3-5 years’ experience in a solution sales position managing large Enterprise accounts in an inside or remote selling environment
  • Experience in dealing with multiple lines of business and the ability to navigate to new decision makers every day
  • IT Industry experience – specifically selling in any/all of the following solutions 
  • Products, Solutions, and Services:
    • Core IT products and solutions including workplace modernization
    • Software and Cloud  
    • Advanced Technology products including data centers 
    • Software and Hardware Renewals

 

Technology Requirements: 

  • Working knowledge of all Microsoft suite applications
  • Previous experience with a CRM such as Microsoft CRM or Salesforce
