Position Overview:  
  
As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will prepare goods for shipment, process collates for shipping, and deliver supplies, materials, and products from the warehouse in accordance with customer demands and requirements. This position will require under general supervision, the ability to manage the daily operations of the warehouse, which includes leading team members to achieve company goals and objectives with emphasis.  
  
What you’ll do as the Warehouse Supervisor:

  • Supervise personnel, which typically includes recommendations for hiring, firing, performance evaluation, training, work allocation, and problem resolution
  • Manage the printing, sorting, recording and dispersal of printed collates
  • This needs to be done with awareness for order routing, customer specific shipping/packaging requirements, shipping methods, and freight billing options
  • Provide products to customers in an efficient and timely manner and arranges for packaging, transportation, and/or delivery of goods
  • Maintain space, equipment, and supplies
  • Develop and implement improved methods of materials handling, stock control, and packaging to promote efficiency, services, and reduced costs
  • Conduct periodic or special inventory audits and assists in the reconciliation of physical counts
  • Develop record keeping procedures and manages appropriate department records in accordance with applicable regulations, policies, and standards
  • As appropriate to the position, participate in the development of operating goals and objectives for the unit
  • Recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations
  • Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as required by daily work volume
  • Ability to perform quality control / bar code data collection of all assembled orders, and to package orders for shipment
  • Ability to confirm shipments in computer system, and collect tracking data
  • Ability to complete shipping documents as required by collate (LTL BOL’s, Export Commercial Invoices, SED’s) – training required
  • Ability to schedule transportation / trucks to meet customer delivery expectations
  • Ability to take initiative and responsibility for area of work
  • Ability to work safely and in compliance with all documented policies and procedures, and to report immediately any potential unsafe condition to management
  • Warehouse expenses managed to budgeted number – total expenses in corrugate, paper fill, other accessories vs budgeted
  • Maintain safe working environment (measured by reported injuries and lost time occurrences.
Management Responsibilities  
  • Train, lead and supervise warehouse clerks.
  • Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
What you will bring to the team:  
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Forklift Certification, and experience with other warehouse equipment such as hand Jack, Cherry Picker
  • 3+ years required of experience as a Supervisor in warehousing and/or inventory control, or equivalent responsibilities
  • Experience Supervising multiple departments
  • Microsoft Office
Shift of 11 AM to 8 PM.
