Warehouse Associate
Description
We are looking for a Seasonal/ Contract Shipping/ Receiving team member to join Fluidra at our Ontario, Canada office.
WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
As a Shipper/Receiver, you will support customer operations by accurately processing outbound orders through pick/pack and FedEx systems, preparing and palletizing products for freight shipments, and performing tasks in accordance with departmental policies. You will also be responsible for receiving and processing incoming shipments, pulling printed orders for dispatch, and relocating material from stocking areas to designated shipping locations to ensure efficient workflow. Tasks will include:
• Picking/Packing warehouse orders
• Process FedEx Shipments
• Labeling boxes for shipment
• Loading and unloading product
• Verifying incoming and outgoing shipments
• Verifying goods received
• Verify stock of items when requested by department or customer service.
• Properly palletize parts/ finished products for freight shipments, including wrapping and weighing of pallets.
• Safety – Consistent focus on workplace safety by identifying and correcting potential safety issues and overseeing all safety issues.
• Perform department requirements at end of shift or when there is a stoppage of work.
• General Warehouse cleaning duties
• Perform other duties assigned
WHAT WE SEEK
• 1+ years’ experience in shipping department involving picking and packaging of parts is preferred.
• Computer knowledge and problem - solving capability
• Read and write English
• Be able to lift 30 lbs.
• Steel Toed Shoes (CSA approved)
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Oracle shipping experience preferred
• Previous order picking/ packing experience preferred
• Detailed oriented preferred
• Good communication skills verbal and written preferred
EDUCATION
High School Diploma or equivalent
