Analytical Programmer, Zeta CRM

The Zeta Analytics team is currently seeking an Analytical Programmer. 

As an Analytical Programmer, you will use a variety of data sources and software tools such as SAS, SQL, and Excel to develop reports to help our clients make sound business decisions.
Primary Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop reports and custom analysis using SAS, SQL, Excel and other tools based on specifications provided by the client or the client analytical lead.
  • Work with a variety of digital and traditional commerce and marketing data sources to deliver actionable insight and recommendations to clients.
  • Support analytics leads and clients with efficient reporting and dashboards.
  • Work closely with members of the larger analytics organization on cross-functional analytic projects.
  • Help provide insights and recommendations based on reports developed.
  • Report automation to streamline the report creation process.
  • Develop repeatable and scalable SAS programs.
Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Programming, Statistics or related technical/quantitative field; Masters degree a plus
  • Strong programming skills with extensive experience in SAS and SQL; Significant experience with SAS/Base and the SAS Macro language required
  • Familiarity with large scale relational databases (Oracle / SQL Server).
  • 5 years of analytic programming experience in a similar role (Direct Marketing / CRM Knowledge for Multi-Channel Retailers)
  • Strong problem solving, analysis, and quantitative skills
  • Ability to extract and integrate information from multiple marketing databases in order to develop standard and custom reports
  • Demonstrated experience with report automation
  • Ability to plan, organize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-motivated and team-oriented work ethic
  • Effective written and verbal communications skills
  • Experience in e-commerce or digital marketing a plus
  • Knowledge of Business Intelligence Tools like Business Objects / Crystal Reports / Tableau / Microstrategy or other Statistical languages ( R ) a plus
  • Knowledge of Predictive models and Statistical concepts a plus
  • Web analytics tool (ex. Omniture, Coremetrics, Google Analytics) experience a plus
