SUMMARY:
At XL Construction, the Business Process Analyst plays a key role in identifying, designing, and refining business processes across all departments. This role supports operational excellence by creating workflows, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and training resources that promote consistency, accuracy, and scalability throughout the organization.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, analytical, and highly organized—capable of bringing structure and clarity to complex processes. This role is essential to XL’s culture of continuous improvement and high-performance delivery.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Partner with business units to develop and refine cross-functional workflows to maximize efficiency and clarity
  • Create process maps and SOPs that align with team responsibilities and business goals
  • Monitor implementation and effectiveness of new processes, providing feedback and recommendations for improvement
  • Manage change control by updating process documentation as business needs evolve
  • Identify opportunities to leverage automation tools and technologies (e.g., K2, Nintex, Appian)
  • Apply and reinforce company standards across all process deliverables
  • Support training development to communicate and embed processes across teams
  • Facilitate collaboration across departments to ensure buy-in and alignment on new or updated procedures
  • Track and manage process improvement priorities aligned with operational strategy

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
  • Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) in Business, IT, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Process Analyst (construction industry experience preferred)
  • Familiarity with business process automation tools such as K2, Nintex, Appian, or similar
  • Strong understanding of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, and Vista (preferred)
  • Ability to gather requirements, analyze workflows, and document clear, scalable solutions
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
  • Strong visual communication skills; able to create process maps, diagrams, and user-friendly documentation
  • Demonstrated ability to lead process workshops and cross-functional collaboration sessions

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
In accordance with California’s pay transparency requirements, the base salary range for this position is $118,000 – $133,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Total compensation may also include performance-based bonuses.
