The successful candidate will assist in the development and execution of PR strategies, help maintain a positive company image, and support various communication efforts.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and implementation of PR campaigns and strategies.
  • Write and distribute press releases, media advisories, and other PR materials.
  • Coordinate with the PR team to ensure that all communications are consistent with the company’s brand and messaging.
  • Monitor media coverage and compile regular reports on PR activities.
  • Maintain and update media contact lists and databases.
  • Assist in the organization of promotional events, press conferences, and other PR activities.
  • Handle administrative duties, such as scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, and taking minutes.
  • Support the management of the company’s social media accounts by creating and posting content, and engaging with followers.
  • Research industry trends, media opportunities, and competitive activities.
  • Foster relationships with key media contacts and influencers.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital communication tools.
  • Basic understanding of media relations and PR principles.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Previous internship or experience in PR, communications, or a related field is a plus.
