Windward is seeking a Federal Client Executive to implement growth plans focused on the acquisition of net-new government customers in the public sector for the business while also driving cross-sell into select verticals of current customers.  
 
Key Responsibilities 
Client Relationship Management: 
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key federal government clients. 
  • Understand client needs, objectives, and challenges to provide tailored solutions. 
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the organization and the client. 
Business Development: 
  • Identify new opportunities, upselling or cross-selling additional services. 
  • Collaborate with the sales team to develop strategies for expanding the organization's footprint within the federal government sector. 
Solution Delivery: 
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including sales, project management, and technical teams, to ensure the successful delivery of products or services. 
  • Monitor project progress, address issues, and ensure timely completion of deliverables. 
Client Advocacy: 
  • Advocate for client needs within the organization, ensuring that products or services align with client expectations. 
  • Provide feedback to internal teams to enhance offerings based on client feedback. 
Contract Management: 
  • Oversee contract negotiations, renewals, and amendments. 
  • Ensure compliance with federal regulations and contractual obligations. 
Market and Industry Awareness: 
  • Stay informed about changes in the federal government landscape, regulations, and industry trends. 
  • Use this knowledge to position the organization as a strategic partner in addressing client challenges. 
 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. 
  • Proven experience in client management, preferably within the federal government sector. 
  • Strong understanding of federal government procurement processes and regulations. 
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Results-oriented with a focus on client satisfaction and business growth. 
 
Preferred Skills: 
 
  • Familiarity with ServiceNow, Observability, Operations Management, Application Performance 
Management  
  • Experience with federal government contracting and procurement.
