Title:  Strategic Solution Sales Executive

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Wind River is looking for a talented, ambitious, and self-motivating Business Development Manager, who is ready to learn and to shape the future of products, solutions, ultra-reliability, exceptional performance efficiencies, and new market development in Korea and APAC regions.

Th
is business development manager shall maximize the sales of company’s products and helps the commercial success in Korea and APAC along with Sales and FAE team together. BD is also involved with identifying new markets and new business opportunities. He/she is responsible for achieving his/her assigned MBO/Quota and developing new markets in his/ her assigned territories, industries, and products.

You will be an integral part of the APAC
You will collaborate with 
Sales Account Mangers and Field Application Engineers to create new market/demand and plan the business strategy for Wind River solutions  
Responsibilities
  • Planning/setting the strategy of Edge & Enterprise Linux Operating System business opportunities at all verticals across Korea and APAC
    • Establishing strategies to apply our products to new customers or markets from the mid/long-term perspective
    • Analyzing the market through existing Edge & Enterprise OS customers or local distributors
    • Collaborating with Product management team and Engineering team to solve customers’ requirements and products’ issue
    • Gaining a clear understanding of customers' businesses requirements and making aggressive proposals to clear issues of the customers on Linux SW
    • Developing business opportunities of Edge & Enterprise Linux Operating System and monitoring competitor’s move/market dynamics
    • Driving pre-sales activity, marketing campaigns, and technical events in APAC  
  • Demonstrating Wind River’s DevOps Platform/Capability with field technical team in APAC
    • Building solid partnership with Korea big OEMs
    • Supporting DevOps opportunity for APAC as well  
    • Driving pre-sales, marketing campaigns, and technical events in APAC  
  • Setting strategy with GP&E (Global Partnership & Ecosystem) and engaging on silicon vendors, Cloud, SI, OEM, ISV, and Distributor Channel …
    • Developing Go-To-Market (revenue & scale) globally along with GP&E team
  • Gathering forecast/pipeline and reporting activities/feedback regularly as closely working with both Business Operation VP and Strategic Sales Program VP
ABOUT YOU
Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success
Minimum 8+ years’ experience selling software products/services
  • Good communication skills with native Korean & fluent English and comfortable in dealing with senior executives or decision makers of key customers
  • Strong understanding of Edge and Enterprise computing environments, Linux OS such as Devian/Ubuntu, OpenSUSE, CentOS, Fedora, and related technologies. Previous engineering experience or technical background is highly preferred.”
  • Proven track record of increasing deal size and achieve the MBO/Quota
  • Ability to well value matching with customer’s requirements
  • Ability to create product/account strategy and manage/execute new business with minimal supervision
  • Self-disciplined, proof of good teamwork and initiative
  • Ability to utilize & drive resources around to maximize output
