As an A&E Design Manager you are responsible for successfully managing your assigned WD Client Projects to a defined schedule and budget. You will be working to define scope, create proposals, develop project plans and forecasts, and lead the coordination and day-to-day client communications and delivery in partnership with WD Functional Leaders and teams within the Brand, Architectural/Engineering, and Construction Management Business Units. Additional responsibilities include Client invoicing ownership and partnership with Client Services in business development efforts within your assigned accounts.

Minimum Experience:   

  • 4-year Bachelors degree in Design, Architecture, Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical), or Construction Management, Business Management or equivalent knowledge gained from education and/or work experience
  • Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment 
  • Experience managing multiple projects/clients
  • Previous experience with permitting, planning, and zoning
  • Willing to travel up to 50%

Preferred Experience:   

  • Previous experience working in retail, restaurant, and/or convenience store or petroleum industry or consulting
  • PMI training and/or credentialed
