Senior Manager (Logistics- Business/ SP/ LP Warehouse S&OP)
Multiple Openings. Senior Manager (Logistics- Business/ SP/ LP Warehouse S&OP) for Wayfair LLC in Boston, MA. Partner with stakeholders to identify key factors and requirements for projects; devise strategies and gather support for project methodology; collaborate with cross functional teams to create and implement initiatives allowing for increased accuracy in short and long term forecasting of high-volume item flow; improve existing tools and methodologies and implement new approaches through analytics; develop the S&OP plan; and integrate S&OP with business systems and processes such as Warehouse Operations, Sales Operations, International Supply Chain, Supplier Performance, Inventory Planning & Account Management, and Engineering. Requires a Master’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) plus two years' experience performing systems or process engineering improvements or, alternatively, a bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field (willing to accept foreign education equivalent) and five years' experience performing systems or process engineering improvements. One year of experience must include: Writing complex SQL Queries to pull data from multiple sources and validate the data; Performing demand forecasting including statistical modeling and creating methodologies to analyze data; Utilizing advanced forecasting models, including time series, regression models, and LSTM Models; Programming using R or Python; Utilizing advanced Excel knowledge and regression analysis including manipulating data sets and performing data analysis; Interfacing with business leaders to gather requirements and translating high level business problems into specific framework which is then addressed by data driven analysis; and Utilizing Tableau to build dashboards and to visualize data.
