Wavemaker is looking for a Client Partner who will drive the agency’s Integrated Marketing Communications efforts for a renowned global client.

The Client Partner drives Wavemaker’s integrated method for marketing communications campaigns, seamlessly leveraging data and analytics around the purchase journey approach in designing media and content campaigns

Main remit is to oversee operation of Wavemaker’s client assignment as a mantlepiece account for Media and Digital Content integration, manage client relationships and internal resources available to client.

In this role, your goals will be:

In three months:

  • Establish your leadership stance among key stakeholders both on client and agency side
  • Gain a full understanding of the clients' business along with internal and external processes
  • Drive agency processes for creating integrated communication campaigns while harmonizing the specialisms withing Wavemaker Philippines - Data and Analytics, Strategy, Content, Integrated Media and Performance Planning and Buying
  • Partner with key business unit leads in building wider practice of integration across the agency units

In six months:

  • Drive digital transformation efforts on both client and agency with the goal of upskilling staff and improving processes as laid out in the agency’s digital transformation roadmap
  • Collaborate with Training Lead in development of key learning opportunities around building capabilities for multi-channel integration
  • Lead the Mid-Year requirements, Campaign reporting, regional and global reporting requirements, audit requirements, conducting client trainings, development of local media landscape presentations, providing data for APAC media landscape presentations, competitive analysis, marketing inspiration sessions, representing the market in Regional client conferences

In 12 months:

  • Developed a roadmap for the next 1 to 3 years for your client business including resource planning and talent/team development
  • Drive and direct the team in delivering the Annual Media Strategy review that covers: insight mining, briefings, target analyses, media objectives & strategies: adaption of centralized IMC to create local media plans, KPI setting & measurement planning
  • Prepare the annual budget pack and have it approved by client


What your day job looks like at GroupM:

  • Formulate full-ecosystem strategy for client businesses and ensure that recommendations and decisions are consistent with client objectives and strategies
  • Integrate client’s digital activities with through-the-line efforts and demonstrate a full understanding of client’s business as basis for all future work
  • Demonstrate understanding of research and measurement methodology and how data can shape client conversations
  • Lead various agency teams in their day-to-day work while ensuring a high degree of collaboration and effective team communication to deliver client requirements
Responsibilities:

1.  As Transformation Account Director
  • Drive agency process for creating integrated communication campaigns, creating process flows that harmonizes the specialisms with Wavemaker Philippines - Data and Analytics, Strategy, Content and Media Planning and Buying
  • Partner with key business unit leads in building wider practice of integration across the agency units
  • Training resource for tools and media buying fundamentals Collaborate with Training Lead in development of key learning opportunities around building capabilities for multi-channel integration
  • Work with the business development team/lead in new business projects
2. As Philippines Media Lead, you shall drive and direct the team in delivering the following scope:
  • Annual Media Strategy and IMC Strategy Development - Insight mining, briefings, target analyses, media objectives & strategies: adaption of centralized IMC to create local media plans, KPI setting & measurement planning
  • Media Implementation and Activation - analytics work for media optimization, channel investment allocation, media vendor negotiations, media scheduling and implementation, media investment management and budget control, media buys and implementation, monitoring of activity & optimization of investments, media plans and schedules, digital implementation, digital mid-flight reporting, digital campaign report
  • Reporting and Training- leading the Mid-Year and Annual Business Review requirements, campaign reporting, regional and global reporting requirements, audit requirements, conducting client trainings, development of local media landscape presentations, providing data for APAC media landscape presentations, competitive analysis, marketing inspiration sessions, representing the market in Regional client conferences
  • Intra/Extra Agency Processes - closely work with Digital Content team in preparation and execution of Digital Content strategy. Prepare annual budget packs. Liaise with Finance/Commercial team in managing the monthly manhours report. Manage client feedback and response.

Minimum qualifications:

  • At least 10+ years in work experience in advertising/media industry with experience in both traditional media planning and digital / performance marketing
  • Minimum 3+ years in line management/operational management experience
  • Experience working with cross-media and budget optimization tools
  • Knowledgeable with digital/biddable/programmatic ad platforms
  • Highly analytical and
  • Prior experience with data management and analytics tools
  • Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and
  • Able to shift priorities where needed
