Cryptologic Language Training Developer (Korean)- Level 1

Language Training Fort Meade, Maryland


VOR Technology is seeking a qualified Cryptologic Language Training Developers, specializing in Korean, to work in the Fort Meade, MD area.  The ideal candidate will develop language material/content to mirror language analyst tasks and update existing materials to meet customers training requirements.

Duties Include:

  • Research and leverage language resources for relevant, authentic language content
  • Develop training materials to include transcription, translation and analysis of operational, task-based exercises
  • Identify and recommend learning applications and tools that enhance training delivery
  • Assist in the prioritization of requirements for training development
  • Develop practical evaluations to test the student’s mastery of the learning and/or performance objectives

Required Qualifications:

  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph (must have clearance to apply)
  • Minimum of five (5) combined years’ experience will include three (3) years as a language analyst and two (2) years of practical experience developing, documenting and updating language training material which meets ISD principles.
  • One (1) year of experience in synchronous and asynchronous instructional systems design in the development of skills-based instruction to adult learners
  • Master’s degree in Language, Area Studies, Education, Education Technology, ISD, or other directly related discipline
  • Minimum ILR proficiency level 3 in reading/listening/speaking in target language (valid DLPT scores within the last 3 years).
  • Experience using web-based or distance learning teaching tools (Centra, Blackboard, Questionmark, SumTotal)
