Language Instructor (Punjabi)- Level 1

Language Training Augusta, Georgia


VOR Technology is seeking a qualified Language Instructor for the Augusta, GA area with expertise in Urdu/Punjabi. The ideal candidate will be able to deliver language training using provided documentation based on customer requirements, using various techniques to include classroom and online instruction.

Duties Include:

  • Deliver foreign language training using provided assessment plans, instructor guides and student material;
  • Tailor approaches in accordance with student learning styles and strategies;
  • Interact with course developers and curriculum managers to assist with design and implementation of training;
  • Use basic classroom technology to include:  audio/video/DVD, computer applications, Smart Board etc.;
  • Teach iso immersions.
  • Work as part of a teaching team, as required;
  • Provide constructive feedback on student progress.
  • Ensure all course delivery meets ADET standards;
  • Supplement instruction with contemporary authentic material;
Required Qualifications:
  • Clearance Requirement: TS/SCI with Polygraph (must have clearance to apply);
  • B.A,/B.S from any accredited college or university. In lieu of the Bachelor's Degree, an additional four (4) years of experience may be substituted.

  • Five (5) years experience teaching adult language education and methodology, to include three (3) years preparing and presenting face-to-face language instruction focused on translation, grammar, listening, reading comprehension, speaking and writing. Additionally, two (2) of the five years will include experience assessing student performance along with identifying and utilizing authentic material for course use.
