This is an amazing opportunity to provide creative leadership on one of the world’s most recognizable and iconic brands – Ford Motor Company – and its various lines of business. The Creative Director is responsible for work that represents our clients in the marketplace, and for contributing to the maintenance and growth of our strong client/agency relationship. This working Creative Director role is responsible for all creative operations including overseeing creative teams and guiding their work and activities while ensuring creative excellence, quality and market potential. The Creative Director will also play an active role in resource planning, training and reviewing projects. We’re looking for a persuasive communicator and collaborator who thinks in terms of the big picture. If you’re interested in influencing culture, leading a team of passionate creators, and using solid conceptual and copywriting skills to solve complex business problems - we’d love to hear from you.

YOU WILL:
Â
- Provide creative leadership, vision and oversight to a multidisciplinary creative department.
- Be a ‘big picture’ conceptual storyteller with the practical skills to bring that vision to life.
- Be a relationship builder both within, and outside, the agency.
- Be a confident and persuasive presenter, whether you’re speaking to a room of 5 or 50.
- Evaluate, provide feedback on, and guide creative work ensuring it meets the highest creative standard.
- Be a working Creative Director adept at producing your own projects while supporting various other creative teams.
- Be a solutions-oriented and collaborative problem solver who will provide input on resource planning, project budgets, and hiring in order to maximize creative performance.
- Be a supportive leader and mentor, empathetic to the individual needs and working styles of your team members while helping aid in their own personal growth and development.
- Participate in agency initiatives, as well as on occasion, larger global projects within the VML network.
- Have a keen interest in and awareness of important cultural trends and world events in order to help inform and shape the impact of our creative product.
- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

YOU HAVE:
Â
- 8-10 years of experience working in a creative advertising agency with a proven track record leading and managing a creative department.
- A comprehensive online portfolio of conceptual creative work spanning video, digital, print, and out-of-home.
- Experience working in a fast-paced agency environment juggling competing demands and timelines.
- Experience speaking and presenting to clients and leadership at all levels of an organization.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
