The wage range for this role is $19.17 - 21.78/hr.

Your tasks at a glance
- You assist during the pre-op exams and fill the patient’s charts accurately.
- You answer patient’s questions and ensure the best service.
- You work closely with Optometrists.
- You conduct pre-operative and post-operative tests for patients.
- You update the appointment system after every patient's consultation.
- You confirm by phone post-operative appointments.
- You will be cross-trained for the Clinical Counselor position (once you have completed your initial training).
A clear view of your assets
- You have excellent communication skills in English.
- You find it easy to connect with others and quickly build trust.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You have an interest in the medical field and have a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
- Your experience in the health care field is considered an asset (ex: optometry assistant, orderly, dental assistant, pharmacy lab technician, sterilization assistant, animal health technician assistant, etc.).
- Schedule: You have flexible work availability Monday to Friday (between 8:00am-5:00pm) and Saturdays on a rotating basis.
