Your tasks at a glance
- You warmly welcome patients and direct them to the waiting room, ensuring that new patients complete the questionnaire to add to their files.
- You handle mail, clinic phone lines, and voicemails, and make sure to call patients to confirm their appointments.
- You are responsible for updating the medical records and appointments software after each patient's arrival and departure.
- You manage inventory and ensure the aesthetics and cleanliness of the clinic when needed.
- You have experience as a receptionist, medical secretary, or administrative assistant in a doctor's office or have strong customer service/patient care skills.
- You are comfortable with computers, technology, and Microsoft 365 (knowledge of EMR systems is an asset).
- You stand out for your organizational and collaborative skills as well as your ability to work with minimal supervision.
- You especially thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, and when you work as part of a team.
- Important: You have excellent communication skills, you speak English et français également (advanced intermediate level of French required due to the nature of the tasks or interactions with our French-speaking patients).
- Schedule: You are available to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm (flexibility required for early mornings & late evenings on surgery days), and Saturday on a rotating basis.
