Summary
Coordinates and administers accurate pricing on ~1500 U.S. and America Latina customer contracts using Victaulic’s complex pricing systems. Results are highly visible to customers and can affect customer perceptions of Victaulic, customer relationships, DSO and audit liability. They will work closely with sales reps, sales management, and Pricing Supervisor in executing pricing strategy.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Load customer pricing including item and product exceptions, defaults and all other daily pricing maintenance.
- Meet deadlines using analytical skills to determine the correct, multiple steps necessary to build accurate pricing for each unique price agreement. Maintains integrity of pricing hierarchy when modifying discounts to existing price agreements.
- Troubleshoot, research, and resolve pricing issues with Customer Care using logic skills, attention to details.
- Collaborates with team members to continuously look for opportunities to improve processes.
- Responsible for taking ownership of the process and being accountable for the majority of data management changes including setting up new pricing agreements.
- Will be a strong business partner; responsible for ~75 plus sales representatives. Perform pricing maintenance to be effective within 48 hours. Phone coverage required through the business day. Respond to an average of 300 emails/phone calls per week. Ability to work with multiple departments (sales, customer care, finance, logistics, etc.) Must stay focused on the duties of the position while at the same time be flexible to meet our customers’ needs.
- Provide administrative assistance through running routine as well as ad hoc reports.
Education, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or work experience in a multi-functional, high-volume processing environment
- Minimum of 5 years of Pricing experience preferred
- Have strong computer skills and be proficient in MS applications, specifically Excel.
- Must have strong organizational skills as well as excellent people skills to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
- Must have a strong work ethic and drive to achieve established goals and deadlines, with a desire for, and commitment to learning and growth
- Analytical and detail oriented with strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to think proactively and manage time effectively. Ability to prioritize workload and meet deadlines with minimum supervision
- Self-motivated and able to contribute individually as well as part of a team
- Willingness to learn and work closely with others to understand the organization
- Experience with BI (Qlik /Power BI) and databases (CRM, data warehouse, ERP, etc.) a plus
- Ability to work flexible hours to meet project deadlines and to manage tight timelines as required
- Victaulic product knowledge desired
