Job Description:  

The Align Senior Consultant will partner with Customer IT, operations, and/or business leaders to help determine how to organize new or reorganize existing field teams.  He/she will provide thought leadership on territory design and alignment calculations and methodologies to create well-balanced territories that best support organizational goals.  The Align Senior Consultant will analyze both internal and external data sources that influence field force sizing and territory design decisions and provide ad-hoc analysis to determine impacts of territory structure changes. 

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic direction to help create or reorganize territory structure, field force sizing, and alignment
  • Create and analyze multiple territory models 
  • Translate business requirements into territory design and field force sizing inputs 
  • Use of proprietary territory alignment and optimization tool to meet Customer’s organizational goals
  • Load territory and alignment data into Veeva Align
  • Communicate to multiple levels of customer stakeholders 
  • Help establish and document best practices for territory creation and optimization 

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience leading territory design, balancing, and alignment engagements within the life sciences industry
  • Experience creating and optimizing territories for single and multiple products and business units
  • Experience supporting targeting and alignment needs for new product launches
  • Understands internal/external data inputs and calculations required to design and create balanced territory alignments
  • Understands territory feedback processes
  • Proven analytical skills, including proficiency with Microsoft Excel and databases
  • Proven ability to remotely support of Customers 
  • Ability to travel 50%
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills 
  • Qualified candidates must be legally authorized to be employed in the United States  

Nice to Have:

  • Experience calculating market potential
  • Experience creating call plans and an understanding of multichannel call planning concepts
  • Incentive compensation development, structure, and execution
  • Familiarity with predictive modeling, statistics, and statistical tools 
  • Experience with alignment practices and strategies for global companies 
  • Experience with Veeva Align and Veeva CRM
