Employment Type: Full-time, 12-month role
Salary: $47,000-$53,000 based on relevant professional experience.
About the Role: The Enrollment & Outreach Coordinator reports directly to the Enrollment Manager and is responsible for executing student recruitment, outreach, and admissions systems to ensure annual application goals are met across our school network.
The Coordinator acts as both an engaging brand ambassador and an operational anchor by overseeing community recruitment events, family enrollment support, multi-campus onboarding orientations, and precise data entry. This role requires proactive collaboration with campus principals, Directors of Operations, and Metro Nashville Public Schools to ensure a seamless and equitable application and lottery process. Because the Coordinator serves as a primary network representative to a highly diverse population, exceptional public speaking skills, a collaborative mindset, and a sharp attention to detail during independent data analysis are essential to success.

Core Responsibilities Include:
Community Outreach
- Execute outreach and recruitment strategies in partnership with the Enrollment Manager to help Valor meet annual application goals.
- Coordinate and facilitate community recruitment events throughout Nashville.
- Represent Valor at school fairs, community events, and other recruitment opportunities to increase awareness of Valor and strengthen its visibility in the community.
- Deliver engaging presentations about Valor to prospective families, community organizations, schools, and businesses.
- Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, schools, businesses, and other partners that support student recruitment.
- Support Valor’s Ambassador Program by identifying, preparing, and coordinating students, families, and staff members who represent Valor at recruitment and outreach events.
Student Enrollment Support
- Support families through online and in-person application, registration, and enrollment processes.
- Provide timely and responsive assistance to prospective and incoming families throughout the enrollment process.
- Coordinate communications with prospective and incoming families through mailers, mass emails, robocalls, texting platforms, and other communication systems.
- Partner with campus Directors of Operations to support the registration of incoming students.
- Partner with campus principals and Directors of Operations to plan and facilitate family orientation and onboarding events.
- Coordinate multilingual communications by arranging translation and interpretation services to ensure high-quality support for Valor’s diverse family population.
- Conduct waitlist pulls and communicate placement offers to families at the direction of the Enrollment Manager.
Data Management
- Maintain accurate and timely student application, registration, and enrollment data in SchoolMint and other enrollment systems.
- Review enrollment data for accuracy, identify discrepancies, and support regular data reconciliation between Valor and Metro Nashville Public Schools.
- Track application and enrollment trends and provide accurate data to support recruitment planning and decision-making.
- Collaborate with the Enrollment Manager and Metro Nashville Public Schools to support the annual application and lottery process.
- Maintain organized enrollment records and ensure that required documentation is complete and up to date.
Event Management
- Manage the logistics and execution of Valor’s Open House events.
- Coordinate daytime school tours in partnership with campus staff and teachers.
- Organize and facilitate community tours for prospective families and partners.
- Support additional recruitment and community engagement events designed to connect prospective families and community partners with Valor.
- Spanish, Kurdish, and/or Arabic fluency is strongly preferred
- Strong data management and analysis skills, with exceptional attention to detail
- Strong event and project management skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Confidence with public speaking, community outreach, and family engagement
- Experience working with diverse populations of adults, children, and families
- Proficiency with Google Workspace
- Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues while also working independently on data entry and analysis
- Strong relationship-building skills and a warm, professional demeanor
