Aquatic Supervisor 

The basic function of the Aquatic Supervisor is to provide the necessary planning, organization, direction, coordination and control of the day-to-day operations of his/her facility(s) 

Position Requirements

Education and/or Experience

1. A minimum of a high school diploma.

2. Prior Lifeguarding experience.

3. Prior aquatic & pool management experience.

Language Skills

1. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions
from Lifeguards, Customers, vendors and other Team Members.

2. Ability to get along with and communicate well with people.


Reasoning Ability

1. Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw
valid conclusions.

2. Ability to apply common sense to everyday situations.

4. Ability to understand and deal with individual personnel and any
related problems that they might have or that affect their work activity.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

1. National Life Guard Certification, Community CPR, First Aid and
Certified Pool Operator (CPO) training.

2. Valid Driver’s License required, qualified to drive vehicles.


Other Skills

1. The ability to supervise staff & Team Members.

2. The deductive reasoning ability necessary to read, analyze, evaluate, and act on effective and efficient operational procedures.

1. While performing the duties of this position, the Aquatic Supervisor is regularly required to talk and hear.

2. The employee frequently is required to stand, walk, use hands to
finger, handle, or feel objects or tools, reach with hands and arms,
and climb or balance. The employee is required to swim and provide first aid & CPR. 

3. Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.


The primary responsibilities of the Aquatic Supervisor are:

Regularly reviews the operations of each of the aquatic facilities in the Region both verbally and through written reports, keeping fully informed.

Ensures Always maintain a neat and professional appearance.
