Description

In support of the Brentwood Benson Music Sales Team, the Sales Rep’s primary responsibility is to maximize sales by growing and maintaining the overall team sales goals.

Job Functions:

  • Relational selling—building upon existing and new customer relationships in order to understand customer ministry needs and find product to meet those needs
  • Achieve or exceed team sales objectives by effectively promoting products
  • Set up personal outbound call goals per day to reach customers
  • Pitching and selling choral preview services
  • Suggesting and adding on additional products based on customer needs
  • Managing and growing overall sales team territory, including making outbound calls, taking inbound calls and answering emails
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Driven to grow our customer base
  • Passion for what we do and who we serve
  • Other Duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

Skills/Abilities:

  • Good understanding of church choral music and worship ministry
  • Helpful to have current or prior experience in church music program
  • Excellent telephone skills
  • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, eCommerce sales, and other web based programming.
  • Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High energy level, comfortable and accurate at multi-tasking
  • Must be well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented
  • Must be able to handle fast-paced work environment
  • Regularly required to sit
  • Requires motor skills to operate a keyboard and basic office equipment
  • Occasionally required to stand and walk
  • Ability to communicate over the phone and in person
  • Occasionally required to lift up to 25lbs

Experience:

  • At least two years minimum sales experience required

Education:

  • Two or 4 year college degree preferred
