ServiceNow (SNOW) Senior Developer will be member of ITSM team reporting into Director, ITSM, and will be responsible for developing ITSM solutions via configuration / code development to meet IT priorities and goals.

Job Functions:

  • Working with SNOW SME, built and engineer solutions that add value to the IT Service Management organization
  • The developer will work with members of the ITSM team, internal customers, and external vendors to implement, test, document, and deploy enhancements, fixes, and configuration changes needed to support the department needs
  • Analyze requirements, identify process improvements, and recommend changes to emphasize standards, supportability
  • Guide other developer(s) to ensure consistency in development work and meet set project / support work timelines

Job Requirements:

Skills/Abilities:

  • Support the development and configuration of a variety of areas including, but not limited to Incident, Service Catalog, Service Portal, Change, Problem, Knowledge, Release / SDLC, Asset Management, Configuration Management (CMDB), Project, CMS, and Reporting / Performance Analytics.
  • Design and develop / configure workflows, forms, scripts and underlying logic using SCRUM / Agile methodologies
  • Formulate testing approach, test cases and document them, Support User Acceptance Tests and deploy code into Production in defined releases
  • Participate / conduct code walkthroughs. Develop coding standards.
  • Lead and support ServiceNow version upgrades
  • Offer technical solutions to address complex requirements. Evaluate alternate solutions, identify the best option and implement the solution
  • Analyse, troubleshoot, and fix identified SNOW system issues
  • Provide on-call support when SNOW Production issues occur
  • Ability to understand complex business needs and adapt appropriately
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new technologies applicable to the ServiceNow platform

Experience:

  • 6+ years of experience working with ITSM solutions in an enterprise environment
  • 4+ years of ServiceNow development / implementation / integration / administrative experience
  • 3+ years of experience managing team of developer(s)
  • Experience working with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript (including AngularJS), XML, SOAP, REST, Jelly, etc.) 
  • Experience working with databases (MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.)
  • Experience integrating internal and external (SaaS based) applications like Skype for Business, Pager Duty is a plus
  • Exposure to Single Sign on/Active Directory integrations
  • Experience providing training on SNOW and supporting ITIL processes

Education:

  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent work experience) in IT, Engineering, or related science and math discipline with a Technology emphasis.
  • Service Now Administrator Certifications, Certified ServiceNow Implementation Specialist, ITIL foundations is a plus
