Job title: Streaming Coordinator (12 Month FTC)

Responsible to: Streaming Manager, Decca

Department: Decca

Location of work: Kensington Village


Main Purpose of Role

  • Deliver weekly report on pitches and playlist additions
  • Analyse, record and pursue global playlisting opportunities for Decca repertoire
  • Build relationships with editors at streaming services
  • Maintain artist profiles with up to date images, biographies and other information
  • Build and grow artist playlists
  • Liaise with internal playlist owners on pitching artists to UMG playlists
  • Create streaming marketing budgets and oversee creation of marketing tools
  • Develop Decca’s ‘always on’ strategy for streaming
  • Use in house tools to find new artists making an impact across services
  • Educate artists/managers on benefits of streaming
  • Build classical artists into ‘ambassadors for streaming’ with innovative marketing strategies
  • Deliver insight on performance data separately for track, album, artist and label group
  • Set performance targets across engagement, growth, streams, followers etc

Person Specification


  • A digital native and avid user of streaming services and social media who is enthusiastic about innovation and technology
  • Knowledge and comprehensive understanding of multiple streaming services
  • Passionate about classical music with a desire to develop its streaming footprint
  • Passion for neo-classical artists and new genre trends
  • Some knowledge of digital marketing & current digital music developments
  • Aptitude for technical tasks and the ability to learn quickly
  • Experience using social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Snapchat)
  • Understanding and experience of using analytical tools
  • Experience with Microsoft Office - Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Self-motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised with the ability to keep calm under pressure
  • Flexible and able to prioritise workload


  • Experience in ‘music’ or marketing (personal or professional)
  • Experience with social media influencers (youtubers, musers etc)
  • Confident in using graphics software (e.g. Photoshop)
