The UMG Internship Program is designed to provide hands-on experience and exposure to a career in the music entertainment industry. We are currently looking for Summer interns to join us at our Woodland Hills, CA office.

The Software Development Intern works collaboratively with the application build team to implement reports, tools, and application features using .NET and SQL server.   This internship opportunity is a fantastic way to apply software development skills, working on an existing web application that is used in Production.

Job Functions:

  • Design and develop web application features and reports
  • Develop and optimize database queries used in reports and applications
  • Perform code reviews based on coding standards and best practices
  • Implement unit tests and other test routines
  • Work with quality assurance team to define and implement test cases
  • Participate in team meetings and technical discussions

Job Requirements:


  • Well versed in full-stack web application development
  • Familiar with Microsoft .NET, Visual Studio, C#, HTML, SQL Server
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Issue investigation and resolution skills
  • Creative, collaborative, and flexible


  • Experience coding database queries


  • Student currently pursuing a BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.


  • Must be a student currently enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • Exceptional computer, written and verbal communication skills
  • Should have at least sophomore year standing
  • Must be able to legally work in the United States
