Universal Music Group is seeking a Coordinator who will support to both VP, Commercial Partnerships (Assoc Labels) & Label Relations & Senior Director, Commercial Partnerships in development and execution of all related activities.

Job Functions:

Associated labels support:

  • Maintain Associated Label Information & Reporting Systems
  • Compile and distribute weekly reports
  • Use data management skills with excel and proprietary data systems to update and maintain sales grids and various account reporting needs
  • Use creativity and organizational skills as needed for special projects and events
  • Work with various labels to construct promotional discount programs
  • Serve as the bridge of communication between Associated Labels and various departments within UMG.
  • Assemble comprehensive and creative Power Point presentations.
  • Organize and maintain meeting schedules

Account level support:

  • Lend support as needed in relation to various ad hoc reporting on sales/marketing information.

Catalog sales department support:

  • Sales and reporting support:
    • Compile and manage promotional catalog titles list in relation to specific labels approvals for themed calendar promotions.
    • Maintain process for development and execution for all Music on Demand and Disc on Demand titles for account partners.
    • Manage and update weekly and bi-weekly catalog communications to sales and marketing staffs. Including Powerpoint and excel presentations.
    • Compile and update monthly account markdown and pricing grids.
  • General:
    • Lend support as needed in addition to responsibilities outlined above

Administrative Support:

  • Phones, scheduling meetings
  • Travel & expenses:
    • Book travel as needed
    • File expenses as necessary

Job Requirements:


  • Ability to multi-task
  • Meticulous attention to detail
  • Extremely organized with superior time management skills
  • Inherent desire to optimize processes and efficiencies
  • Complete understanding of deals administration procedures and UMG sales policies or willingness to learn


  • Excellent Microsoft Office, Powerpoint and Microsoft Excel skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with emphasis on relationship building with labels and account
  • Excellent knowledge and application of Internet resources
  • Excellent knowledge and understanding of digital products / product consumption


  • Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
