We are currently seeking a proven Manager of Brand Partnerships. The Manager will work alongside the Director of Brand Partnerships to support the development and execution of strategic marketing partnerships that drive both revenue and marketing support to the label. He/she will also develop new business prospects and contribute to delivering best in class entertainment marketing, content, and event programs for new and existing clients. The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, creative, entertainment marketing expert capable of delivering breakthrough concepts in support of Strategic Marketing initiatives and driving new business. The position requires a solid understanding of the music industry and Multicultural/US Hispanic Lifestyle marketing.

Job Functions:

  • Collaborate with key internal stakeholders across Marketing, Sales, A&R, Legal, Finance, Product Development, Digital, TV & Film Licensing, and Artist Management to support priority projects, artists, and brands
  • Oversee all brand partnership opportunities for the UMLE roster. This includes outreach, negotiation of fees, contract execution, and fulfilment and seeing through deliverables for brands and artists.
  • Work closely with creative ad agencies to procure music placement in brand TV/media campaigns
  • Handle account management for deals brought in by the department. This includes project management from concept to execution. Director will serve as a primary client contact.
  • Manage integrated programs featuring key artists from UMLE that support and build both artist and brand awareness as well as support for artist and brand product
  • Develop and manage integrated brand programs/campaigns to increase artist commercial awareness
  • Ownership of program and project ideation process - lead the development of creative concepts and guide the packaging and delivery of ideas and new business presentations
  • Proactively communicate with agency, media, digital, and brand industries to explore opportunities Build and maintain strategic relationships with current and future partners
  • Maximize the use of consumer research to exploit artist opportunities and increase artist and UMLE brand equity
  • On-going management of clients and programs

Job Requirements:


  • Entrepreneurial spirit with demonstrated success in driving new business from concept, to sale, and through the execution phase
  • Demonstrated experience in bringing concepts to life through written presentations
  • Experience working with brands, agencies, and entertainment
  • Must have ability to communicate effectively and tactfully with persons on all levels - in person, on the phone and in writing
  • Strong organizational and time management skills: ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously that are deadline sensitive
  • Self-starter, will take initiative with new projects
  • Professional demeanor in dealing with clients and co-workers
  • Advanced working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Ability to operate in a highly collaborative manner and work well under pressure
  • Strong understanding of Latin music industry, top artists, genres, and trends
  • Bilingual - proficiency in both written and spoken English & Spanish required


  • 2-3 years project/account management experience
  • Agency experience is preferred
  • Passion for Music and Multicultural Lifestyle Marketing
  • Understanding of the agency, brand and entertainment landscape


  • College Degree
