Universal Music Singapore have a brand new opportunity for a Senior Key Accounts & Commercial Executive to join the team. The position will be responsible for three main functions: account management for key clients; representing our artists and their music to digital partners; and executing regional artist projects in the Singapore market.

The successful candidate will be a superb relationship builder with excellent coordination and project delivery skills. You will relish the chance to work in the fun and fast pace of a continually evolving industry.

Position details:

  • Key Account Management for New Business and Digital business partners in Singapore and Indochina markets.
    • Maintain communication and relationships with clients to identify their requirements. Assist and identify opportunities in all aspects of content, product development, marketing, analysis and customer acquisition.
    • Support budget management, project / campaign implementation, reporting and client administration.
    • Assist the New Business team with pitches and events.
  • Commercial Channels
    • Manage and drive sales by representing Universal content to digital and e-commerce partners in Singapore and Indochina.
    • Work with internal teams on campaigns and content for execution across partner platforms.
    • Prepare reporting and analytics as required.
  • Oversee key regional artist releases (China / Korea / Indochina) in Singapore.
    • Work with marketing teams in relevant countries to schedule releases and create innovative marketing plans in line with artist community and target consumers.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve financial and other KPI’s.
    • Evaluate new artists and projects for their potential opportunities in Singapore.
    • Stay in touch with charts and trends and make recommendations to management for opportunities.

About you:

  • Relevant qualifications in Business, Marketing or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Account Management, Marketing and/or Sales. Experience working within a creative or media agency preferred.
  • Advanced communication skills and fluent in written and verbal English and Chinese.
  • Builds and maintains strong customer relationships. Ability to influence and negotiate.
  • Highly organised, strong attention to detail and able to handle multiple deadlines concurrently.
  • Tech savvy and analytical.
  • Interest in music and the industry may be advantageous.
