Job Type:

Full Time (18 Month Fixed Term Contract)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support period-end book closing
  • Prepare monthly Balance sheet accounts reconciliation
  • Prepare monthly P&L review and Balance sheet review for closing
  • Prepare quarter-end consolidation package preparation
  • Prepare any recurring, accrual and adjusting entries booking
  • Review and monitoring aged accrued expense liability balances
  • Manage payroll report review, reconciliation and Journal Booking
  • Manage forward Contracts and related monthly FX booking
  • Support loan agreement, manage interest/principle schedule and payment
  • Support intercompany transactions booking
  • Manage government subsidy calculation, filing, and audit support
  • Support purchasing Cards and Travel Cards online portal monitoring and issue resolving
  • Support annual Deloitte audit and corporate tax filing
  • Support new store opening
  • Support Manager for system upgrade and any project
  • Support Manager to prepare any accounting guideline, memo and/or manual
  • Contracts submission and PO creation for vendors in charge
  • Booking errors and issues monitoring, investigation and resolution
  • Outstanding and abnormal balances monitoring, investigation and resolution
  • Expenses review and monitoring to ensure all costs are booked to their activity period
  • Ensure system mapping and interfacing correct to accounting system
  • Budget and forecast supporting and assistance
  • Any other duties deemed necessary by the Employer

Desired Skills and Experiences:

  • Accounting: 5 years + working experience
  • CPA designation: CPA CA, CPA CGA, 3 years+
  • SAP experience are required
  • Experience of monthly sales tax filing, remittance and booking is an asset
  • Experience of annual corporate tax filing is an asset
  • Experience of Full cycle of AP and AR is an asset
  • Bachelor degree in Accounting, Finance and/or Business required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Self Driven
  • Detail oriented and have a sense of urgency
  • Outstanding Problem solving skills and able to identify unusual entries, discrepancies or problem and resolve independently
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, ability to effectively communicate and work with internal local teams and external global teams
  • Excellent organization skills and time management with strong attention to detail
  • Maintains high standards of quality despite pressing deadlines
  • The ability and desire to work cooperatively with others on a team
  • The ability to keep functioning effectively when under pressure
  • Able to handle multiple priorities to meet tight deadlines
