The Department of Pediatrics at UMass Memorial Medical Center and the UMass Chan Medical School is actively recruiting a Chief for the Division of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. Well qualified candidates for this position will have training and expertise in the assessment and care for children with a broad range of developmental and behavioral concerns. Responsibilities will include clinical work, division administration, and supporting a resident rotation in DBP as well as medical student and resident teaching.



The UMass Chan Department of Pediatrics is a multidisciplinary program that is enjoying rapid growth and a productive research portfolio including multiple awards from NIH, HRSA, and PCORI. UMASS Chan Medical School has a strong tradition of teaching and training; including both a Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities (LEND) program and a University Center for Excellence in Developmental Disabilities (UCEDD). 

 Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in developmental assessment is desired.
  • This position requires a commitment to excellence in patient care, teaching, and research.
  • Clinical, basic, or translational research interests are encouraged and will be aggressively supported.
  • Academic rank will be commensurate with expertise and training.
