UMass Memorial Health, the health and wellness partner of the people of Central Massachusetts, the largest health care system in Central Massachusetts and the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School is seeking an ABR certified/eligible Radiologist to join the Community Radiology practice.

The UMass Radiology Department has state-of-the art imaging equipment, AGFA PACS system, EPIC EMR, Tera-Recon image processing software, Powerscribe 360 and is running several AI algorithms. The department is comprised of approximately 85 fellowship-trained Radiologists organized into specialized divisions, performing over 800,000 exams per year and trains 20 residents (5 per year) and 9 fellows. The department also includes approximately 15 PhDs and is supported by more than $6M/year in research funding.

  • Integrated network covering more than 1 million lives in Central Massachusetts
  • Skill set for community practice includes: General X-ray and US, Body CT. Ability to perform basic outpatient interventional procedures, e.g. Throacentesis/paracentesis, arthrograms, FNA, “simply” CT and US guided biopsies and drainages.
  • Weekends (8 am to 5pm) reading whatever modality is preferred, many weekend shifts can be done from home.
  • ED Radiology group covers all ED’s across the system and dedicated breast imaging group staffs both the academic medical center and community practices. Neuroradiology, Pediatric Radiology all read centrally by specialty divisions.
