The Department of Urology at UMass Memorial Medical Center, the clinical partner of the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester, Massachusetts is currently seeking a BC/BE urologic surgeon to expand and grow our department. This opportunity is for a fellowship-trained urologist with established expertise in male and female reconstructive urology. The subspecialist will be located at the UMass Memorial Medical Center.

This opportunity is an academic position.  All candidates should possess a strong commitment to excellence in patient care and teaching. The chosen candidate will receive a highly competitive compensation/benefits package and an academic appointment commensurate with experience and training. Clinical, basic, translational, and health-related quality research opportunities are extensive in this stimulating and collegial academic environment.  The Department of Urology offers physicians an extraordinary opportunity to work in a high volume academic surgical practice.

The diverse city of Worcester has nine colleges and universities including the University of Massachusetts Medical School, which has beautiful panoramic views of Lake Quinsigamond. As the second-largest city in New England, it has powered a rise of booming technology, research, manufacturing and healthcare industries. The Worcester area has good schools, affordable housing and plenty of outdoor recreational opportunities.  The city itself also has a thriving restaurant scene and is home to the Hanover Theatre for Performing Arts, Worcester Art Museum, the Woo Sox (AAA-Minor League Red Sox Team) and the family-friendly Ecotarium.
