The rise of technology platforms has given way to programmatic, data-driven media buying.  Trilia has built out a team dedicated to this programmatic approach whose expertise spans search, social, display, mobile and video.  The role of this team is to understand the landscape of technology platforms, how to use them, and then successfully apply them to the strategy and execution of client programs.

Trilia is seeking an Associate Media Director to oversee the self-service operations and yield optimization of client programs.  In this critical role, the AMD will manage a portfolio of campaigns across multiple client accounts and will work with Account, Media, and Creative teams, as well as with our platform technology partners.  This person should not only have strong analytical skills, but also have strong problem-solving skills in dealing with new challenges as they arise.  The ideal candidate for this role has a passion for entrepreneurship – is a self-directed, self-starter, and an out-of-the-box thinker.


  • Serve as an expert on Social and Programmatic media, as well as a thought leader on emerging channels
  • Advanced understanding and operation of the various platform technologies utilized by Trilia
  • Advanced understanding of the supply and data ecosystems and the appropriate application of each within campaigns
  • Run day-to-day operations on accounts as needed, ensuring successful performance
  • Shares responsibility for the strategic direction and profitable growth of the programmatic team
  • Create strong relationships with internal teams in order to provide collaborative and forward thinking solutions for clients
  • Demonstrate strong commitment to understanding client’s business and the industry by providing programmatic strategy and counsel across clients and programs
  • Create best practices, best in class processes, and opportunity for knowledge sharing to continually be advancing the expertise of the team
  • Develop strong relationships with platform technology companies, seeking out new opportunities that could augment client initiatives
  • Participate in new business as needed
  • Actively involved in education of internal and external teams on digital and programmatic capabilities
  • Management and morale building
    • Directly manage 3-5 people

  • Fluent in MS Excel usage
  • Bachelor’s degree required – preferably, but not limited to, those within a quantitative discipline (e.g., Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Physics)
  • 10+ years of professional experience in digitial marketing or advertising
