Utility Worker
Description
Become a Utility Worker!
Maintains vehicles and the building in conjunction with Transdev's Maintenance Department: maintain meter readings, stocks required supplies and equipment, and coordinates the flow of buses to ensure safe operation. Performs light maintenance as necessary to buildings and grounds.

Utility Workers are responsible for:
- Maintaining the cleanliness of fleet vehicles interior/exterior
- Sanitize all fleet vehicles
- Clean and maintain building interior/exterior
- Delivering vehicles to certain locations as needed
- Building supplies inventory
- Moving vehicles in building and lot
- Taking the milage from vehicles
- Taking vehicles for fuel/or inspection station
Minimum Experience and Skills Required:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Ability to learn and perfect maintenance skills
- Have a valid driver's license
Physical Demands:
- Less than 10% of work is accomplished in doors and in air conditioned or well-ventilated facilities
- Greater than 90% of work is accomplished in an open garage facility
- Performs physical activities that require considerable use of the arms, repetitive hand wrist motion, and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling materials.
- May be asked to lift and carry up to 60 pounds
- May be exposed to cleaning chemicals, you have access to safety protective gear.
