Transdev Seeks Top-Tier CNG/Diesel Bus Mechanic!

Transdev is searching for a skilled and dedicated CNG/Diesel Bus Mechanic to join our team! In this crucial role, you'll play a vital part in keeping our fleet of transit buses safe, reliable, and running smoothly.
What You'll Do: 
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues in CNG and diesel engines, powertrains, HVAC systems, steering, electrical systems, cooling systems, and brakes.
  • Perform routine and preventative maintenance to ensure peak bus performance.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
  • Be a team player and contribute to a positive and productive work atmosphere.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed. 
What We Offer: 
  • Competitive starting pay of $25.50 per hour (subject to union contract)
  • $3,500 sign-on bonus for valid CDL holders with Air Brakes and VTT (paid throughout the first year)
  • $1,000 annual safety bonus (paid quarterly)

Qualifications: 
  • Minimum 18 years of age
  • 2+ years of experience in auto/truck maintenance
  • Basic computer skills for data entry (preferred)
  • Ability to obtain at least two H or T series ASE certifications and 608 or 609 AC certifications within 120 days of employment
  • Must be able to perform a variety of physical tasks, including lifting up to 75 pounds
  • Must have or be able to obtain a Class B CDL with air brakes and passenger endorsement
