Diesel Mechanic
$4000 BONUS effective until 12/31/2024
Transdev in Englewood, Colorado is seeking a C-Level Diesel Mechanic to bolster our team. This role demands expertise in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines across various vehicles and equipment. As a Diesel Mechanic, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring safety, efficiency, and longevity for our vehicles.

Responsibilities:
- Performs transit vehicle maintenance that are compliant with Transdev standards
- Inspects, diagnoses, services and/or repairs all assigned transit vehicles and related mechanical equipment
- Ensures accurate upgrades and/or modifications on coach systems, road calls, and on-the-road repairs as needed
- Coaches and monitors team members on the work team
- Other duties as required
Schedule:
- Shift Hours: 5:00 PM - 3:30 AM
- Work Schedule: 4 days a week (10-hour shifts)
Qualifications:
- Must be at least 19 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Must have a valid Drivers License
- Maintenance experience
- Appropriate Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification preferred
- Excellent communication skills with ability to read, interpret safety documents, blueprints, schematics, and other mechanical diagrams.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination, including background and a drug test
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
- The employee is generally subjected to long periods spent sitting, typing, or looking at a computer screen.
- Work environment will be a combination of both indoors and outdoors.
