We're currently looking for a Senior Brand Specialist to be the beating heart of our brand.  You'll help us bring the Trade Me brand strategy to life, passionately ensuring that all marketing and comms across Trade Me are on brand and every opportunity is taken to deliver on our brand purpose - 'Connecting Kiwi to create the life they want'.

Here's what you can expect from this role: 

* Help to plan and execute on all our brand campaign processes from brief, project management to execution across paid and owned channels working with marketing teams, designers and external agencies, ensuring that our brand is portrayed in accordance with our brand personality and guidelines.
* Manage the creation and execution of the Kindness Store/'for good' campaigns each year.
* Drive the creative and delivery of our quarterly brand newsletter
* Support the comms team with creation of media materials and press releases
* On a daily basis, have eyes open to ways we could proactively and swiftly respond to culture or newsworthy events to create memorable moments in brand. 
* Work with the wider Marketing and Comms team and Designers to proactively identify opportunities to leverage and amplify our communications, bring our brand pillars to life and ensure visual brand guidelines are up to date.
* Work closely with our People team to ensure that we create opportunities for internal brand engagement through all our brand activity - take a creative lens on how we can embed brand within our team culture
* Be an advocate for and ally in our Te Ao Māori journey and bringing this world view to our brand communications 
* Manage all campaign reporting for brand and comms to stakeholders outlining key learnings and recommendations across activity.
 
What you will bring to our team: 

Experience:
* Marketing or Communications degree or equivalent Business degree is desirable.
* 4 or more years' experience in a relevant brand or marketing role.
* Successful track record of planning and executing  brand and / or marketing campaigns
* Proven ability to develop creative, non-traditional solutions for challenging problems.
* Proven track record of leveraging analytics and consumer insights to inform decision making, with our brand metrics in mind. 
* A good understanding of Te Reo Māori and Te Ao is an advantage

* Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), interpersonal and organisation skills.  
* Ability to juggle multiple projects and competing demands.
* Curiosity, problem solving and a high level of initiative
* A natural collaborator – you'll be part of ensuring the Brand, Marketing and Comms team is future-focused and positive.
* Data-driven - you'll love diving into data to measure the impact of brand initiatives, interpreting trends and to apply learnings so that we can constantly improve our  performance.
