Social Media and Affiliates Specialist

Description

We are seeking a full time marketing specialist to execute our social media and affiliate campaigns. You will manage all of our social media channels including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest and you will also be responsible for monitoring our affiliate channels and partnerships using networks such as Commission Junction and iBotta. You will report into our Director of Marketing and work closely with our Marketing, Creative, Merchandising, and Customer Service teams.


What you'll be doing:

  • Develop campaign concepts and content to increase followership and engagement across key social platforms
  • Be responsible for certain marketing KPIs including new customers, revenue, and registrations
  • Manage day-to-day communications across all social media channels
  • Build and maintain a social media content calendar in conjunction with merchandising and holiday sales event cycles
  • Create a program to identify and engage with brand influencers and advocates to further establish our brand positioning within the space
  • Monitor and analyze conversations across key channels to understand implications for the brand
  • Execute the day-to-day operations of multiple affiliate programs using platforms such as Commission Junction and iBotta
  • Monitor affiliates’ marketing methods to prevent fraud and ensure compliance with each program's terms and conditions.
  • Work with and find new partners and new areas of growth.
  • Review analytics and adjust strategies based on results to optimize all campaigns.

What you bring to this role:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in marketing, business, or other related fields
  • Understanding and passion for social media and emerging trends and platforms
  • 1-3 years experience in social media marketing required
  • 1-3 years of affiliate marketing and partnership experience a plus
  • Understanding of interplay between owned and paid media within social media
  • Excellent analytical skills + excellent written communication skills
  • Strong project management skills with high attention to detail
  • Collaborative and team-oriented, yet a self-starter
  • Has a strong internal motivation to get the job done and done well.
  • Possesses the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Thrives in a fast paced environment.
