About the role:
As the Content Manager within Rovi Data Solutions Group (DSG), you'll lead a dynamic team in crafting and delivering high-quality content in a fast-paced environment. Your role encompasses both overseeing operational metrics and individual performance metrics, ensuring not only the successful delivery of content but also the optimization of processes for maximum efficiency. You'll be instrumental in shaping and executing strategies to meet evolving customer demands, all while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and relevance in entertainment metadata.
What you will get to do:
  • Strategic Supervision: Provide direct oversight of the DSG content team and processes, ensuring alignment with operational KPIs and individual performance metrics.
  • Process Optimization: Continuously assess and refine existing processes to adapt to current and future product and customer needs, driving improvements in workflow efficiency.
  • Image Manipulation and Design: determine the future strategy of image processing.
  • Workload Management: Effectively manage workloads within the team, identifying and implementing efficiencies to enhance productivity and output quality.
  • Data Integrity: Ensure adherence to Metadata Operations data-integrity standards across all content-related activities, maintaining the integrity and accuracy of entertainment metadata.
  • Project Leadership: Act as a lead or subject matter expert on content-related projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive successful outcomes.
  • Collaborative Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders across various departments, including Product Management, Data Operations, Sales Support, and Engineering, to facilitate seamless collaboration and project execution.
  • Special Projects: Undertake special projects and participate in collaborative activities with Engineering teams, contributing to system testing, requirements gathering, and troubleshooting efforts.
  • Additional Responsibilities: Take on additional duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the Content Management Team and Metadata TiVo’s objectives.
Who we are looking for:
  • Managerial Experience: 3-5 years of managerial experience in an operations or editorial environment, with a proven track record of implementing process changes and aligning team priorities with strategic goals.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills, essential for effective collaboration and leadership within a diverse team environment.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Ability to work seamlessly with key leaders and teams across various departments, fostering productive working relationships and achieving shared objectives.
  • Pop Culture Familiarity: Interest in and familiarity with pop culture, television, and movies, enhancing the ability to create relevant and engaging content.
  • Technical Proficiency: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of tools Adobe photoshop or other image editors and data analytics tools knowledge.
  • Education: College degree or equivalent work experience, with expertise in an entertainment environment considered advantageous.
