About the role:
 
The Sr. Project Manager role at Xperi is a skilled collaborator and mediator who is comfortable working within a business unit to align activities with corporate goals. The Sr. Project Manager will chair multidisciplinary projects that may range from legal, finance, IT, software engineering, or organizational change activities. This role engages with leaders within the organization to ensure projects are successful from concept to customer delivery. The Sr. Project Manager brings project management expertise to the organization.
 
  • Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Tracks one or more complex projects and communicates routinely to management, customers, project team members, and other stakeholders, actively soliciting and addressing customer and project team feedback.
  • Monitors and analyzes data on a project level.
  • Facilitates the communication between business and/or technical teams and drives resolution of prioritization conflicts.
  • Aggregates and summarizes projects, providing project status updates at predetermined time intervals to all stakeholders.
  • Implements change management policy, develops, implements and communicates plans, and manages risks and mitigation strategies.
  • Monitoring compliance with project management standards, policies, procedures, and templates.
 
  • Education and/or Experience
  • BS or BA in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent degree or equivalent work knowledge
  • PMI certified preferred
  • 3-5+ years of relevant experience
  • Track record of working on projects with a variety of teams (both technical and non-technical)
  • Experience in implementing project tracking in Jira and Confluence and other software tools
  • Demonstrates the ability to plan, execute, track, and report on business or technical projects involving a single or multiple teams
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
  • In-depth knowledge of project planning and tools
  • In-depth knowledge of issue tracking tools; JIRA and Confluence is a must

The estimated base salary range for this full-time position is $109,059 - $135,000 plus bonus, equity, and benefits, and can vary if outside of this location. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, competencies, experience, market demands, internal parity, and relevant education or training.
