HHB Systems is seeking professionals to provide support services that enable effective operations across the key components and offices across the National Geospatial-intelligence Agency.  This program is designed to provide access to a large quantity of qualified cleared personnel with skills in management and technical services support, which will allow NGA to more efficiently fulfill its mission of providing timely, relevant, accurate and actionable geospatial intelligence in support of national security. We have multiple openings and seek a broad range of experience. Compensation and responsibilities will be commensurate with the experience of the candidates.

We are seeking Facilities Engineers/Managers to support our customer at the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA). The Facility Engineers provide professional engineering services in support of facility management, maintenance, and operation.  They interact with other contractors, government personnel, vendors, and other NGA personnel to coordinate and accomplish major facility improvements and alterations, as well as oversee and support facilities operations.  Individuals hired for this position will support NGA facility operations primarily CONUS with the potential for performance in the CENTCOM AOR.  The selectee(s) hired for this position will be responsible for preparing and monitoring construction and maintenance projects in support of NGA’s operations.  Duties will include developing and implementing various engineering plans, specifications, cost estimates and designs for operations, maintenance and support requirement to maintain NGA facilities.  Specific duties include directing/conducting studies involving multi-disciplinary engineering programs for facility modifications, operation and maintenance, and construction; conducting engineering studies related to developing specialized facilities with unique standards; validating instructions for facility operations, maintenance, and repairs. Strong verbal and written communication abilities; understanding of DoD engineering procedures and policies; ability to analyze organizational and operational problems including resolution analysis; strong leadership skills, including leading multidisciplinary teams; strong multi-tasking skills are also necessary for this support.

Requirements:

  • TS/SCI clearance 

For candidates with more than 16 years of experience:

  • Associates in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent technical training with experience in a related field
  • Technician training or education in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering fields. 
  • Holds trade license or certifications by organization (e.g., American Socieity of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers (ASHRAE). 
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and Heating, Ventilating, and Air-Condition (HVAC) standards; good verbal and written communication abilities; understanding of DoD engineering procedures and policies.

For candidates up to 14 years of experience

  • Bachelors in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field; Professional Engineer License held in one of the 50 states or a US Territory is desired
  • Registration as a professional engineer in one of 50 states or a US Territory.  Building or facility plans, designs, configuration, and equipment maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Uptime Institute Data Center, ASHRAE and NEC standards. 
  • Knowledge of building electrical and HVAC systems.

For candidates up to 12 years of experience:

  • Masters in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field; Professional Engineer License held in one of the 50 states or a US Territory is desired.
  • Registration as a professional engineer in one of 50 states or a US Territory.  Building or facility plans, designs, configuration, and equipment maintenance. 
  • Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Uptime Institute Data Center, ASHRAE and NEC standards.  Knowledge of building electrical and HVAC systems.

For candidates with up to 10 years of experience:

  • PhD in Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering or equivalent experience in a related field; Professional Engineer License held in one of the 50 states or a US Territory is desired
  • Registration as a professional engineer in one of 50 states or a US Territory.  Building or facility plans, designs, configuration, and equipment maintenance. 
  • Analyzes industry best practices and recommends improvements to lower operating costs.  Knowledge of Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED), Uptime Institute Data Center, ASHRAE and NEC standards. 
  • Knowledge of building electrical and HVAC systems.
