The Role:


This is an exciting Senior Account Executive opportunity to work on one of the agency’s flagship consumer facing clients, Pernod Ricard.


Pernod are a bold and progressive client with an appetite to do award-winning marketing. A couple of recent campaigns below should give you a flavour of the level of innovation and bravery involved:


You will be working within an established planning team to deliver top quality work to the client. This role will involve multi-media (offline and online) planning across campaigns with a strong focus on digital. It will also involve developing strategy and implementation of campaigns working closely with the client to achieve results. We are looking for a strong Account Manager who can use their experience to influence the client to achieve the best possible results for them. 


Pernod Ricard own a large portfolio of alcohol brands including the likes of Absolute, Jameson, Malibu and Havana Club. A client who strives for innovation and new ways of thinking means the account is really exciting and rewarding to work on. The campaigns will predominantly be brand activations and recent campaign examples include Absolute’s activations across London Pride, Campo Viejo’s Summer of Colour and Havana Club Colour in the Dark.


Responsibilities include:


  • The planning and procurement of media campaigns
  • Client facing presentations on strategy, campaign recommendations and subsequent results
  • Media innovation (e.g. new creative formats, new platforms, media firsts etc).
  • The ability to educate both clients and colleagues in terms of the ever changing world of media
  • Manage client accounts effectively on a day to day basis
  • Working with colleagues, other departments and media buyers
  • Working collaboratively with other retained agencies
  • Evaluating the effectiveness of campaigns in order to inform future campaigns
  • Recommending the most appropriate types of media to use, as well as the most effective time spans and locations
  • Making and maintaining good contacts with media owners, such as newspapers, magazines and websites
  • Managing client relationships to build respect and trust in your judgement
  • Maintaining detailed records in an organised approach



Who we’re looking for :


  • Ideally you will come from a media agency with experience on fast paced brand/s
  • You will understand the wider media landscape, particularly digital media including PPC, Display and Social
  • Important to understand digital technologies such as DMPs
  • You will have an ambitious, fun with a ‘work hard play hard’ attitude
  • You should be driven to achieve results and maximize opportunities through proactivity 
  • You will need to have strong communication skills, with the confidence to push back on clients where appropriate and lead a meeting room 
  • You should have experience of being the primary contact on a medium sized piece of business, whilst simultaneously juggling a number of other pieces of business alongside an Account Director
  • Strong attention to detail and organization is imperative
  • A high energy, positive, can-do person who is always looking for ways to improve the account
