avas Formula is seeking a Head of Paid Social in our NY office. The role works closely with the strategy, accounts, and creative teams to develop and implement paid social media strategies that meet our clients’ expectations. The Head of Paid Social is responsible for planning, setting up, optimizing and reporting on all paid social campaigns across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and LinkedIn. Our client roster includes some of today’s most notable passion brands across CPG, food, technology, automotive, B2B and experiential, including Jaguar Land Rover, ADP, Chase, Justin’s, Heineken, Panda Express, Wholly Guacamole, and more.


  • Lead paid social campaigns for Havas Formula, specializing primarily in Facebook & Instagram ads, while also understanding, Twitter & LinkedIn ads
  • Develop and implement marketing strategies and initiatives within respective paid channels
  • Assist in planning and managing budgets for paid social & new channels
  • Develop & track new ad sets including: ad copy, landing pages, images, ad types, & more
  • Monitor the latest trends in social media, including advertising formats, channels and technologies in order to improve campaign performance and provide recommendations on how clients can best leverage new tools and services
  • Lead reporting of paid campaigns, analysis of campaign effectiveness
  • Lead A/B test planning, execution, & analysis across paid social & other channels to maximize overall results and scale
  • Analyze ROI of overall paid channel efforts, while scaling new digital marketing initiatives



Education: Bachelor’s Degree

Experience: Must have current experience directly managing Facebook ads & other paid social platforms, a minimum 3 years of doing so, preferably in an agency environment. 

Skills & Abilities:

  • Deep understanding of the social media landscape
  • Ability to advise on optimizing content to perform highly on specific platforms
  • Experience with 3rd party tools
  • Experience managing monthly paid social budgets and managing to a fixed ROI or CPA
  • Experience with multi-touch attribution & measuring attribution across channels
  • Experience running A/B tests and performing audience segmentation
  • Highly analytical
  • Ability to conduct, analyze and distill primary and secondary research into usable insights and ideas
  • Deep knowledge of digital, social, traditional and influencer communications
